Fabio Capello believes Juventus is risking changing coaches nine games before the end of the season, but one point away from the Serie A top four, but feels that Thiago Motta’s looting is “inevitable” if players stop believing him.
On Sunday, Juventus confirmed they had The company broke up with head coach Thiago Motta Just eight months after his tenure, that Igor Tudor will replace him with a short-term contract until the end of the 2024-25 season.
Motta was unconvinced by his time at Allianz Stadium’s dugout. Especially after the team was eliminated from Coppa Italia by Empori, after a 3-0 successive defeat against Atalanta and Fiorentina with Atalanta and Fiorentina.

Capello: “Changing the nine coaches game from the end of the season can be a risk.”
In an interview with Lagazzettadello SportsCapello explained that it is inevitable to remove Motta if players stop believing in him, but still feels that the club took a risk in the timing of their decision.
“In theory, it could be risky to have a coach change nine games from the end of the season and only one point away from fourth place,” he said.
“But there must be a context behind the club’s decision. From the outside I had the impression that no one wanted to continue motta. It’s not a fan, nor a team. In those cases, you need to listen to the dressing room and decide accordingly.

“As I understood, if the players weren’t taking them to Motta anymore, looting was inevitable. He said that Tudor had the courage and accepted a big challenge.”
Capello on why Tudor makes sense to Juventus
Despite their risk of appointment, Capello believes Tudor is the right choice in the situation. Especially considering my previous experience with Juventus.

“He knows the club because he went through it as a player and coach who was Pirlo’s assistant a few years ago, and it’s a huge advantage, especially at moments like this.
“Tudor has already taken over the bargains from Udinese to Verona to Lazio mid-season. He has a clear idea. He knows the job waiting for him as the coach who took over him. Of course, that’s different from Juve, but like I said, we’re talking about a coach who knows every corner of the world of Ventos.
“He doesn’t have much time to reach his Champions League qualifying goals, but he doesn’t have the courage.
What does Capello do from Tudor’s standpoint?
Capello continued to explain what he would say in his first meeting with the Juventus squad if he was in Tudor’s position.
“I talk to the team in a very honest way: ‘You bring me here and now let’s help each other.” Doing that shows that everyone has to be on the same side. Coaches cannot solve all the team’s problems themselves, especially when they don’t have time.
“The important thing that Tudor has to focus on is restoring order. Juventus needs normalization. We’ve had months of confusion.
“To put it this way, it was a three-year project that needs to be implemented in a year, and the truth is that results are always important, especially for top-level clubs like Juve.
Capello also revealed which players Tudor needs to be most useful in the next few weeks. “First of all, Vlahovich. He plays for the box, a striker who lives for goals. And he gives confidence and then Yildiz, he has great talent and a lot of character.”
